Frankenstein Empty
PostSubject: Frankenstein   Frankenstein EmptyFri Oct 07, 2011 9:23 am

Don't know why I never thought to post about this on this board earlier, because this has got to be one of the best usages of PD characters in the mainstream media...

Has anyone else been reading Dean Kootz's Frankenstein series? An interesting twist, it casts the monster (using the name "Deucalion") as the hero, and Victor Frankenstein (using the name "Victor Helios") as the mad scientist villain planning to take over the world and remold society in his image. Through various means, both have survived to the modern day and are battling in New Orleans.

There are 4 books out in the series, and if you like thrillers with a sci-fi/horror twist, I can't recommend them highly enough!
