Thanks!
Hope you are okay. I've been watching the news and the damage
looks extensive. Is your place okay?
I am a big fan of your Fandom Universe characters. I am trying to come up
with an open source character of my own for a twelve page web comic. You
seem really good at creating and writing characters and worlds. I would greatly
appreciate any input you might have.

We were lucky; no damage to our home. We were just out of power for 4 days. At first it was fun, but the novelty wears out REAL fast! ;-) Thanks for the kind words. I'd be happy to offer any input I could, if you want to send me a message. In general, all I try to do is look at characters that I like, distill them down to their basic essence, and then try to figure out what I could do to with that, sometimes combining elements of other characters, sometime just going with an odd idea that hits me from out of the blue... I wish I had a more defined "process" that I could explain to you, but things usually just occur to me. | |

Goldenbard,
I tried to fire up a thread in the Open source character section for a collaboration
on a "mid level" powered super hero but I haven't attracted any interest yet. It could
be that no one is interested in that paticular archetype or it is too close to open source archetypes
that have already been created.
If you get a chance I would be interested in your thoughts on my brainstorm.

| Swiftarrow, I saw the thread, but wasn't really interested, because I felt it was too broad. There are already a ton of mid-level heroes. If you were more specifi on what you had in mind, it might get more creative juices flowing...
