6" Golden Age Action Figures

I met the gentleman who runs this company at a horror convention in Scranton this weekend. He's running a new crowd funding attempt for his line of six-inch action figures based on some classic public domain characters we all know and love. Since this is indiegogo and not kickstarter, I was reluctant to toss any money at it since Indiegogo still collects the money even if the project is not funded. But when I spoke to him today, I asked whether he was going to make the figures anyway, and he said yes. The only thing that is determined by the level of funding is how quickly they get out. He estimates that even if this crowd funding attempt doesn't work (and it doesn't look like it will), figures will be available around January. He would like to have them available by Christmas time, otherwise.

Those look like they are from the successor of Shocker Toys, who have quite a history.

I'm not going to hold it/him to transgression of the past, but I would not look into buying anything until distributed by Diamond or via sites like BigBadToystore.

Thanks for the heads up, CodeAndReload. I didn't know there were any problems with his stuff in the past. I had previously purchased a Shadowhawk and a Maxx figure from him several years ago.

It may still happen, but I'd be leery of just throwing money at it via crowd-funding.

Who will produce the golden age comic book heroes 6"action figures soon?
