Not all of the images will have reworked backstories like this one.
Mysta of the Moon.
In a far flung future, humans have advanced connectivity to a point where people’s brains are wired into huge networked systems where the layers of privacy and publicity are blurred. A place where you get “flash-celebs”as well as some of the most intimate connections where people share body and mind.
Dr.Kort seeing the pending issues with cerebral security and mem-hacking kidnapped 2 children and kept them hidden on the moon, replacing them with inert clones so they would be thought of as dead.
Using genetic modifications combined with cybernetics, he created a brain which can hold over 2 000 000 petaflops of data and can self preserve itself versus intrusion via the subcon network of linked minds.
During this time an AI system known as Miltary artificial reasoning system goes rogue and escapes into the subcon network. This AI starts to mold certain key individual people in power to maintain a secret hold on mankind.
With the high degree of access it has, it locates Dr. Kort and sabotages his defence against the type of control the AI is building which leads to the death of Nors (Mysta’s “brother”) and Dr. Kort himself.
With her own ability to hack the subcon network and her quantum linked mobile armature tool she battles to remove the influence of the AI who is secretly subjugating mankind.

Hey Expendable,
I like the idea of an AI 'in the shadows' using key members of society, and the rest of humanity just going about their business, with a rebellious few attempting to fight what passes for truth.
(Just looked her up, and her original story wouldn't draw me in that much.)
Looking forward to seeing other art, or re-imagining of PD characters from you. (I can't draw a straight line, so artists that can make the more 'dated' art of the PD 'verse look fresh, I like to keep up with.

I like the story, and I really like the art. Have you drawn any 'sequential art' (actual comic strips/ pages)?

Thanks for the feedback, I've never done any sequential work recently, back when I was going to school I did doodle some pretty bad comic books stories. I tended to not do beginnings. Basic Rob Liefeld level work.
I'll throw in something I did for Inktober this year, Spider Widow. A bit more modernizing of the look
I'll likely colour her after October.

Great stuff, Extra. Your redesign for Mysta is very nice (still sexy, but not pandering like the original), and Spider Widow looks suitably creepy... Can't wait to see more!

I should have posted this on Halloween. Here is Madam Satan from the public domain listings

Not a character I'm overly familiar with, Extra (had to look her up), but this is a great pic/rendition of the character! And VERY appropriate for the holiday!

It's hard to find many female superheros or villains with any interesting look to them. I just remember link hopping and running into her entry and finding that she actually has powers.
Here's a couple of others I did during Inktober, so they aren't up to my higher standards unfortunately.
The Green Sorceress and Miss Fury

I love your colours on Madam Satan, I really like the way your pencil/ ink lines are strong and not overly-busy, and you add shading/ texture with your colours.
I like your Miss Fury, she's a character I plan on using in my universe.

Two more nice ones. I have to say, if anyone wanted to use Miss Fury in a comic, I think they'd need to redesign her. She may be the original, but I'm sure that 99% of people would look at her and say, "Oh, cool Catwoman..."

Both are pretty viable choices. I remember Sun Girl, the yellow/black costume was really striking. Flame girl is nice since she is a rare female hero with actual powers.
I know for Miss Fury I was thinking on picking up on the mystic nature of the suit to play on.

My concept of Miss Fury is going to be connected to the Black Fury, so she'd be like a cross between Catwoman and Batwoman/ Batgirl. So, if you fancy drawing a female version of the Black Fury, that would be awesome.

As suggested by captainwhizz, here's a work in progress of Flame Girl

If this is just the work in progress, I can't wait to see the rest ... the shading is especially nice (I almost called it "cool," but that didn't seem appropriate!).
BTW, did you move your pics? The links seem broken.

Whoops, I did move them around a bit, completely forgot I had linked them. Fixed them now.

Well I finally finished Flame Girl, good choice in the type of character to draw.

I'm with Whizz on this one! Like I said, I thought the shading on the B/W was impressive, but in color it is superb. Wish I had half your artistic talent (but if you need a picture of Captain Stick-man, I'm your man....).

Thanks guys, I really enjoyed doing the fire effects.
Here's my take on Captain Midnight from the PDSH site. Since the name is trademarked, I refer to him as Agent Midnight. Brought a bit more of his aviator look with the "colour" of his superhero suit (naturally I just did a black and white piece)

Very nice! I've been reading the Dark Horse version of Captain Midnight lately, but I've thought the character was really cool for ages. I love the way you combined elements of both looks, and the "Agent Midnight" name is a nice change, maintaining the feel of the original but nicely dodging the trademark issue...

Hey there everyone, it's been a while, the changeover to 2015 was a bumpy one for me and it took a while to get things sorted. Since I was commissioned for some Golden Age supers, I felt I could share them with you here.

And his sidekick Tim

REALLY nice take on a character that's become almost iconic in the PD world! Now that 2015 is in full swing, I hope things smooth out for you!

Hello Everyone,
Hopefully everyone has been keeping busy. I've been way too busy with work and a few other social things to really put some time to paper (digital paper in my case). I did get another Public Domain character done. Here is my take on Queen of Evil.
And if people don't remember what the original looked like:
