Assorted Public Domain super hero character sketches

Here is an inked sketch, a bit incomplete, of Yankee Girl and Kitten. The paper scanned a bit crooked and cropped off at the bottom. Still need to add some more shading but for now here is what I've done. The site has inspired me to do some artwork in this area, so thanks to everyone who has participated in this Forum, it's a great site and I enjoy it.

I think it's good . The only fault I can find is that it looks like YG's costume only covers half her crotch ( ) . Glad that some of the exchanges have inspired you.

I'm glad that these boards have such a talented contributor. You do great work. I have to agree with Yzz's comment about Yankee Girl though...she's a little risque. But, otherwise it's great.

This is a rather quick sketch in pencil on mutli-purpose paper of my idea for the Pd character FIREHAIR. I changed her around a bit but haven't finished the design or story, it is just a concept idea I thought I'd post. It is a ROUGH DRAFT so please--no nitpicking what you find wrong with the sketch. What's to nit-pick? Looks really good to me.

I can definitely see your personal style starting to come through, especially in the Firehair pic. Keep it up and show us more! LOL

Yeah, no nitpicks from me, she looks badass.

Thought I'd do a new sketch of a female PD character, this time Lightning Girl. I made her "evil". The lightning bolts are a bit funky but sometimes when I sketch I do it a bit too heavy and that is what happened; too thick to erase and do over. Not a trace, none of my art never is. Not the greatest but its one I think came out OK.
