Hi, I'm working on a cartoon psa for the bridgestone safety scholarship and I have a question regarding parody. I don't know the ins and outs of legality but here is my idea: instead of the Flintstones I'm making the Bridgestones, Ted and Bernie ( Fred and Barney) anyways I'm going to make them driving and Ted Bridgestone is texting while driving. And at the end it says Texting While Driving. Yabba Dabba Don't. Under law this should be protected. This won second place one year and is a parody of transformers, even using actual transformer toys. So by this standard shouldn't I be safe?
