Characters / Stories

Hi all,

I've been kicking this around in my head for a while, and I really would like to do it, if just for myself. I have been wanting to do a realistic (if you can call it that) version of the sentai versions of the Power Rangers. (The sentai ones are the original source material that all of the U.S. Power Ranger stuff comes from.)

I've got character ideas, and at least an idea for an origin, but I'm looking for someone to bounce stuff off of. I'd like these chars to be 'mine', or at least the concept, if it works out.

I'd really like to see my ideas turned into characters, even a rough sketch..something to get my brain going again. (Healing from a low-energy femur fracture w/hip problems is NOT fun, so heroes and sentai take my mind off of the pain.)

I did a sketch, still haven't scanned it, but will do by the end of the week. I don't really have story ideas, but maybe I could help you if you're willing to share some of yours - privately. (I don't steal concepts from other people, so don't worry)

I think the mecha described in the thread could easily be adapted into a super-sentai like setting.

You might also get inspiration from Guardians of Order's D20 anime class: (http://www.opengamingfoundation.org/animesrd/Classes.htm).

I liked the info about the classes, the sentai stuff was spot-on. It might give me an idea.
