I have no artistic ability at all, alas, but I can at least play around with Heromachine. Here are a couple of designs I've made with it (I've also posted all these on my DeviantArt account):
I'm not at all sure what to call this character yet. He was originally created as a character with specific ties to the Marvel Universe and then I decided to rewrite him for my own thing, so I'm still working on that. I won't give away what his deal is just yet in case I do get around to writing that story someday.
This character I created ages ago for an anime-inspired story that never went anywhere. She was meant to be some kind of Shinigami.
"Black Tara," Scourge of the Seven Galaxies, started out as a revamp of the Nedor heroine Tara, the Pirate Queen, who has a lot of unexplored potential. (She appeared on some great covers but was never quite as cool in the stories.) But over time she ended up merging with the Black Terror. Clearly Tara is part of the infamous Benton lineage.
And finally you have... I'm not really sure. The Gorilla-Sorceror of the Lost Sun. Blame Edgar Rice Burroughs, I guess.
The first character is someone who I have a clear idea of who he is, but the last three are ones I never came up with any clear story for, so I'm thinking of open sourcing them. (Though of course the Heromacine illustrations themselves are under copyright, due to Hmach's terms of use.)
