Is the Superman comic strip in public domain? If I remember correctly Fantagraphic released a collection not to long ago. I don't own a copy so I can't check If or who owns the copyright. My guess is the that DC comics/Warner Bros. Doesn't own or control the copyright. Was this originally produced under King Features Syndicate? Is it owned Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster?
In other words, Who owns the Superman comic Strip?
