| Starting in October is Dynamite's Warlord of Mars. Based on Edgar Rice Burroughs' John Carter of Mars books. First issue will be $1.00. I love the first 3 Mars books and hope the adaptation can live up to the source material. | |

| $1.00??? That is certainly worth the price of admission. I kinda gave up on buying comics when they went up over 2.50 each. That is one I will definitely buy. | |

First issue is $1.00. I believe it'll be $3.99 after that. I think it's supposed to be 12 issues with the first two being a brand new prelude, and the adaptation starting in #3. Reading John Carter it is easy to see the mass influence it has had. Everything from Superman to Star Wars to He-Man to You Name It has borrowed from Burroughs. | |

| I've read about the upcoming comic and it looks to be fantastic. The first issue is shipping with 4 difeerent covers, I believe, and Joe Jusko is one of the cover artists....the cover's look (well, a couple of them) like old time novel covers. | |
