Anyone want to contribute their stories/art/strips to a book featuring Public Domain Heroes?

Yeah, I think I'd have difficulty fitting that character in there randomly as well.

Well I think the idea is that once we collect all the stories, Argo was going to write a Jenny Everywhere story in which she somehow appears in all the stories, or perhaps she is on a journey through dimensions in which she meets the characters in the stories. She links the stories together as being in the Free Universe.

is that right Argo?

Yeah, basically. My hope is that writers can also work her into a bit part in their stories. It would be cool if she was somehow important, but she doesn't have to be. I realize it may not always make sense for her to be in a story, and I don't want to restrict anyone's creativity in trying to force the idea. But if you can even mention a girl named Jenny somewhere in the story (maybe a flashback or a reference to an old friend, or a waitress or something), it would give me something to work with. The idea is, I'll read all the stories and try to figure out a way to link them, to suggest how each was important in the grand scheme, from Jenny's understanding of the multiverse (she can witness all realities at once). That is the idea

Do you guys want to discuss your basic plots? Maybe we can brainstorm some potential links or ideas for Jenny cameos.

Maybe Yzz and KnightRandom should work together on a Wonderman story...create a whole seperate novel deconstructing him in various ways...

Yeah we could do that, like you said as long as a story mentions a girl with goggles at the roadside or standing next to a statue in town then it gives Argo something to work with.

Sounds easy enough to me.

I Have a great idea,let's do comic book covers,comic strip stories and comic book stories featuring the public domain golden age super heroes and villains as seen on the free universe site for future volumes of the book.

Hey greatdude, I'm busy working on a 711 story. I've finished a very rough draft but I want to go over it again and get it right.

All stories should be no more than 10,000 words and the (tentative) deadline is 31st October for those looking to contribute.

This seems like a very cool idea! I like the idea argosail had with tieing everything together. It would be cool to start off with a short origin story for each character we pick and maybe tie it all up in the end. Maybe making a super group of sorts? Just some ideas. I would like to contribute some ideas I had for revamping some Heroes that are in PD! Keep up the good work everyone!

Hi greatdude,

I would prefer a prose story rather than a comic strip as it's easier to put together. Other than that you can use whoever you want however you want
