Events take a dark turn as Kid Miracle decides he will never turn back into a weak, hobbling cripple. Consumed with anger over the years of abuse he suffered as Eddie Freemont, "The Kid" is slowly corrupted by his own inhuman powers, his uniform changing color to match his covert hatred of all humanity.
