HeroClix for Free Universe characters

If you don’t already know, HeroClix is one of the most popular superhero games of all time. More info at www.heroclix.com. It seems long past due that the game was opened up to open source and public domain heroes. Here are the “official” Free Universe stats for some of our favorite characters:


Astro-Man has unique stats in which he is nigh invulnerable and super strong for close quarters battles, but he is left vulnerable when he defends adjacent characters.


At the beginning of the game, Jenny is able to "shift" her way through our reality and she is able to control fate a bit, as she has a bit of dejavu with the events in her new reality. After that, she is able to perplex and outwit her enemies, because she knows them from parallel realities. Defensively, she knows what to expect from them all, because she's seen it all before...


Has many of the same abilities as Astro-Man, but is far more powerful. He doesn’t waste time defending his allies. He simply crushes his enemies with overwhelming force.


Outworlder is still a bit of a rookie, but capable of blasting his enemies with deadly bolts. The alien within him can help guide him when he is on the brink of defeat.

This is all pretty cool, if only I knew anyone who actually played this in my area this could be a nice addition. Shame that this is not the case.

I don't have people or time to play such games either, Vagrant. But I think he Heroclix figures are wicked cool, and have given some serious thought to getting some and giving them custom paint jobs. But I don't really have the time for that, either. (I would also expect that I'm seriously lacking in the talent department...)
