| I Have some Questions: 1.How do i use the information in the elements section of the free universe site to create my own world? 2.Also,can I use all the Public domain golden age super heroes and villains featured on the free universe site in my own stories? | |

Not sure I understand your question. You just use the information as you need it. Like, you're writing a story and suddenly realize that the character needs to be reading a newspaper. So you check the "elements" section and decide that the paper he's reading is the "World Tribune," so you put that in your story. There, you've just used it. - great dude wrote:

Yes. That's the whole point. All you need to do is start writing/drawing/filming any story you can think of using these characters.

| It's up to you; after all, it's YOUR world! If you want to have a character who is the descendant of, say, Fantomas, then you can mention the fact that Fantomas began his criminal career in 1911. Otherwise, just ignore that info.
Argosail posted that stuff so that you can use it (or not) in any way you want. There are no rules! Just start writing...

| I'm just trying to provide another resource for you to use, distilling my own research into what parts of our cultural heritage you can incorporate into your work. However, the info on the Free Universe is only a small fraction of what is legally available. Use the characters and elements as a starting point, or use them in your story as an homage to the creators who came before you...like Bard said, there are no rules...have fun! | |
