Free Universe Holiday Art Contest

So, I've been thinking about placing art on the main introduction page of the Free Universe site. But since I am busy working on profiles I thought someone might be interested in helping me with that. So I thought, why not have a little art contest to increase interest. Now, I understand, we might not have enough regular visitors on these boards to get the participants we need, but I thought I'd give it a try and see how many entries we get anyway.

So, here's the rules:

-The art must contain at least 3 characters that have profiles in the heroes section or characters from the paw world section. Please don't use any villains or characters from the tyrant universe.

-You may use any number of characters, but all of them must be public domain or open source.

-The scene must depict the characters engaged in some kind of common holiday activity such as decorating a tree, lighting a menorah, unwrapping gifts, singing carols, baking cookies, sitting around a fire, or something like that. Please avoid any violence or gore. This is the season of peace.

-All entries due by December 1. Please post them in this forum. Ask me for help if you don't know how to post images on forums.

PRIZE: The winner will have his work displayed on the front page of the site, and they will be credited. In addition, I will create a Free Universe profile for one of your characters (assuming you want them to be open source/freely licensed, under the standard open source license agreement) or any public domain character of your choice. I will also create a 1 page comic teaming your character with Astro-Man, that will be posted on this site. This will be part of a series that already includes a team up between Astro-Man and Outworlder.

Hopefully this prize is sufficient motivation,along with bragging rights, but let me know if you think I can do something else for the winner.

I'ld be interested in doing something (not that I think I'm an awesome artist or anything) but I'm doing a few other creative things at the moment that I don't want to take time away from doing. The last thing I need is any excuse to not get something done. Still, I'm looking forward to seeing what all the other members of these boards turn-out.

Haha...okay, not a lot of takers on the contest. I know it's a very busy time of year. If you wanna share holiday cheer anyway, send me an image and if it's cool, we'll put it on the front page.
